The Founders
In January 2011 Lorna Fairclough and Tony Weston made their own wise move from rival estate agencies to launch their own business. Their families have been close for many years – their children have grown up together – and, between them, Lorna, who became managing director of Property Wise, and Tony, who became sales and marketing director, have built up more than 20 years of experience in the trade.
Lorna holds the National Federation of Property Professionals accreditation, the highest vocational qualification available, and she is an Associate member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. Lorna has worked on the Island for many years in sales and residential lettings in a senior position. Previously, she worked in trust and company formation and puts her knowledge of the finance industry to good use in her present role.
Tony has held senior positions in sales, marketing and advertising throughout his career. He has a wide knowledge of the Island and the industry and has built up tremendous client relationships over the years.
Lorna said: ‘Our clients benefit from our vast wealth of knowledge and experience. We go the extra mile because we want to, not because we feel we have to, and we pride ourselves on transparency, honesty and clarity in everything we do. As a result, we earn our clients’ trust, turning transactions into valuable long-term relationships.’
In October 2024, Property Wise was acquired by Partners Real Estate, an international property group headquartered in the Isle of Man. As part of Partners, which owns a portfolio of estate agencies in the Isle of Man, UK, and United Arab Emirates, Property Wise has access to the resources, network, and expertise to further enhance the service it delivers for its valued clients across the Isle of Man.
Property Wise is licensed by the Office of Fair Trading and is a member of The Property Ombudsman for sales and lettings.
